Purchasing a property may be a very stressful activity, particularly if you are purchasing abroad and are not familiar with the relevant legal processes. We understand this and whether you are looking to buy a home, second home or investment property we will provide a full and clear explanation of the process of purchasing real estate in the Turks & Caicos Islands. We are often preferred attorneys for purchasers at resort developments and have a wealth of experience dealing with pre-construction purchases and purchases of condominiums. We aim to provide as much certainty as we can for clients and to that end work, in most cases, on a fixed fee basis agreed at the first meeting with a client.

We understand that purchasers rarely have the opportunity to spend much time on Island when dealing with their purchase and we recognize that this may increase the concerns/stress involved in the transaction. We aim to minimize this by being responsive to client´s enquries and concerns and ensuring that information is provided to clients in a timely manner. In addition, unless absolutely necessary or where a client wishes, we will structure a purchase to ensure that there is no requirement for a purchaser to be physically present on Island to close their purchase.

When acting for sellers we seek to act in an efficient manner, preparing all necessary documentation to complete the sale and working to any agreed closing date to ensure a seller receives the proceeds of sale as soon as possible. As with purchasers we act on a fixed fee basis.
