Profile

Claire is originally from Ireland where she obtained her BCL (Hons) at University College Dublin in 2001 before pursuing an LL.M in International Law (Hons) from the University of Glasgow.  Prior to her qualification as a solicitor in 2009, she held research positions at the Judges Library in the Four Courts, Dublin and the Law Reform Commission of Ireland. 

Post-qualification she practiced in the Dispute Resolution Department in one Ireland’s leading commercial law firms before moving to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2011 to work initially with Miller Simons O’Sullivan and then with Graham Thompson, Attorneys.  Her work in litigation involved a number of high-profile commercial disputes including the enforcement of security and possession actions, corporate matters including insolvency, liquidations, receiverships, corporate formation and reorganisation, and insurance.  She has also a wealth of experience in in both contentious and non-contentious Property and Finance matters.  Her experience in the Finance sector involved working closely with leading financial institutions in secured and unsecured lending transactions.

In 2022, Claire joined M&S Trust Company Limited as the Head of Corporate Services.  Claire leads the team at MST to provide a wide range of bespoke corporate services to clients.  Her background in commercial litigation means she is ideally placed to tackle complex corporate and regulatory issues. 

Claire is an associate of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and serves as the Secretary to the Association of Company Managers and Agents in the TCI.

In her spare time, Claire enjoys spending time at the beach with her family and can be seen running the roads, playing tag rugby, and generally keeping active.
